✨ Yum Cha ✨We're from Hong Kong and love yum cha (and ordering in our terrible Cantonese) πŸ˜‚ What better way than to infuse our background into this market! Please note you do not have to produce anything specifically for this theme but you are more than welcome to!


Pricing

Full table: $240 for two days (approximately 180cm x 70cm // 2 chairs)Half table: $120 for two days (~90cm x 70cm // 1 chair)Each artist will be allowed one helper to assist during the event.For shared tables, submit separate applications and specify the other business name on your form.To be placed next to a specific artist, please inform us and we'll try to accommodate your request.

Venue

The Queen Victoria Women’s Centre is located on the lands of the Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung people of the Kulin nation. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend this respect to other Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Australians.From the QVWC website:
"Visitors with mobility aids accessing the centre from Lonsdale street are advised to take the ramp on the western (left-hand side) of the building along Shilling Lane. This will direct them to the automated doors at the rear of QVWC. Visitors accessing the centre from the QV Courtyard, eg Artemis Lane, will find stairs connecting the QV Courtyard to the rear automated doors.
Visitors with mobility aids are directed to use the platform lift, proximate to the QVWC SHOP, to access the rear automated doors.Within QVWC, a passenger lift can be used to access all floors from ground up. The lift has a doorway of 90cm, an internal depth of 209cm and a maximum load of 1125kg. Where there are small steps or accessibility issues, platform lifts are installed or portable ramps are provisioned."Wayi Djerring Room:
"Located on Level 4. The venue and balcony are fully accessible... The closest accessible bathroom is on the Ground floor."

Terms and conditions:All applications will be reviewed and we will reply to all applicants to advise the outcome.All art/medium is welcomed and we will place preference on original art. If you do create fan art, we still encourage you to apply.No AI, plagiarised or NSFW art allowed.Artists must be 18 years+ or have a parent/guardian with them for the duration of the event.Cancellations up to 1 month (by July 17th, 2024) will be given a full refund. After this date we will do our best to find replacements and refund you where possible.Public liability insurance ($10 million coverage) is required for all sellers for the duration of the market. We will ask successful applicants to send their PLI certificates to [email protected] by July 31st 2024.You are only allowed to sell art/products that you have created. On-selling another artists products is prohibited.You are required to be present during opening/trading hours and we ask that you do not pack up early as it can be disruptive to your fellow artists.You are responsible for providing your own tablecloth and display items. Please ensure they are clean and not damaged.Please be courteous of your fellow artists. We ask that you do not place additional props/displays outside of the table space. There are no back walls for this event and the venue does not allow us to pin anything on their walls.By applying and being accepted, you understand and accept:To the terms and conditions listed.That Oh My Hues can use your brand logo and product images for the purpose of promoting you and the upcoming event on social media.That there will be photos and videos taken during the event that will be uploaded to a gallery and/or shared on Oh My Hues social media.
